My ideas to balance the game

Not gonna lie, some of your suggestions are really creative.

I want to see more BE besides just Khmer.

I wish Burmese UT gave them +1/+2 (original one given) or even +0/+3 (200 more food cost)

I wish Vietnamese UT gave +80 HP or possibly even +100 HP. They lack blast furnace but a pocket player may be more inclined to go BE with a tankier BE.

Malay 33% cheaper BE. It goes along with the 66% faster up time and 33% cheaper fish traps theme. It’s only 3%.

Burmese elephants are good right now in my opinion after the manipur cavalry buff

Agreed, but +100HP would be too much, my preferred value is +70 or maybe +80 HP

Malay elephants are already super strong in castle age, I don’t mind if they aren’t that strong in imperial, malays have lot’s of other options.

Malay Elephants are even cost-efficient in the Imperial Age, the issue is that; with both Arbalest and Trashanded Swordsman, there is no reason to go for them.

Viet Elephants are already good enough with the +50 HP.

That wasn’t a buff but how the bonus should have been originally. I just see arambai from Burmese in my games or watching pro players.

I guess that’s why you see players use BE (sarcasm).

Yup, Non Khmer BE are already so good we always see them
Aint I right @JonOli12
/s

elephants of all sizes have always seemed like a team game unit to me. too costly for 1v1

They should increase base speed of all elephants by 10% and just 5% extra for khmer bonus.

When is the last time you saw War Elephants in a high level TG?
Or better question is, how many years ago did you see them?

The last time I remember seeing a pro use War Elephants is Riut in the famous Tyrant 8 player FFA
And that’s way back in 2014. And that was a non-serious game. And that’s considering I dont just play, I watch literally every caster and pro out there like an addict.

Its just so much fun watching the OG Elephant working atleast for once, instead of them being destroyed by the lowest of trash.
War Elephants are supposed to be feared, and not be tissue paper.

A week ago Max douched Hera then he had full War Elephant army in a 4v4

and what was the net result of going War Elephants over Paladins or literally anything else?

His douche failed and reboomed then destroyed all 4 enemies with elephants

Firstly, you cherry-pick a game
Secondly, you talk as if other options already available to Persians(Paladins) would not have achieved the same thing.
In fact, I argue Paladins wouldve done much much better. And then there’s Trashbows too.

The War Elephants have to be balanced from the perspective of a Persian Player, i.e. they must be a viable option for a Persian to choose OVER Knight Line

nobody makes trashbows in tgs and Paladins can’t destroy armies as effectively as War Elephants

No Wonder we see the War Elephants from a Persian Player so frequently because they destroy armies so effectively :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

they are too expensive but if you have the economy you should prioritize them over Paladins because they are unstoppable

Of coursee, the War Elephants are perfect, a Persian player should definetly go for them, they are so good, and perform better then Paladins, right, don’t they
Totally worth every penny :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
Aren’t they

then I’d say you’ve amnesia because there have been a lot of War Elephant games since then. And I’ve already replied you previously on why War Elephants are not seen often in pro play

Then you must remember Daut winning last month with Persian eles only right?

You said no one won with eles since 2014, so any counter example is to be taken into account.

firstly, you asked when the last time you saw Elephants in a high level team game.
you got an answer.
please tell me how that is cherry picking?

furthermore a few weeks ago shortly after the Elephant Archer buff, there was a team game where literally everyone on Vipers Team went for some form of Elephants, including Elephant archers.

affordability is what holds them back in 1v1 games. nothing more. they are just very expensive, and its easier to mass up armies of other units that are cheaper.
