My proposal for a new DLC

I have seen plenty of civ proposals, so here’s mine.
Sumerians: some people have wanted AoE 1 civs with AoE 2 civs, so here’s a treat for them

UU: Axe Warrior. 1 attack, 0 armor, 10 HP. His weapons are made of Bronze, so he’s no very strong
Tech Tree: given that these guys are way far in time, they should only have techs and units that were present in their time, so only Militia and Spears in Barracks and only archers and Skirmishers in Archery Range. They get no horses, because horses in their time where super small. No Castles either, so they actually can’t train their UU

Now, let’s go to Italy. Italy maybe deserves an split, so here we go
Milan
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Piacenza
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Cremona
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Mantua
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Crema
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Bergamo
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Brescia
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Bologna
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Padua
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Treviso
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Vicenza
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Verona
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Lodi
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Reggio Emilia
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Parma
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Genoa
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Turin
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Ancona
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Perugia
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Assisi
UU: Genoese Crossbowman and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road
Papal States:
UU: Genoese Crossbowman, Swiss Mercenary and Condottiero. UT: Pavise and Silk Road

How about some very desired duchies?
I don’t have much info on Duchies, but these could be cool options
Duchie of Soria, Duchie of Medina Sidonia, Duchie of Albuquerque, Duchie of Segorbe, Alba de Tormes, Duchie of Escalona, Duchie of Benavente, Duchie of Infantado, Duchie of Plasencia, Duchie of Villahermosa, Duchie of Medinaceli and Duchie of Cardona. All these Duchies should be in the game

Speaking of diversity, we all know that DoI civs should be fused. We should fuse all Asian civs in one civ, called Asia and all African civs in one civ, called Africa

And finally, the Western Roman Empire
UU: Cataphract, UT: Logistica.
In Blacksmith, they get Blast Furnace

Thanks for reading!
Greek fire is a 7th century invention, so it wouldn’t be a good UT for them

Probably wouldn’t even notice

The massive Britons umbrella needs to be split! For proper representation of the English kingdoms in the early middle ages, we need at least:

Northumbrians
Mercians
West Saxons
East Saxons
South Saxons
East Angles
###########
Obviously these would be very different. For example, Northumbrians would be an Infantry and Monk civilisation, whereas ########### would be a Monk and Infantry civilisation.

We’d keep the current Britons, of course, but to improve historical accuracy they’d be renamed to Ynglysshe and Cymry.

Edit: I really don’t understand why it censored the word for people from the Kingdom of Kent.

You forgot to add stradiots.

While we’re at it let’s split the Lithuanians to the three Baltic states as well, considering most now view the Baltics under Lithuanians when drawing maps of covered civs.

How about no?

We should add every ducado in Europe, so we can have more civs. The rest of the world doesn’t have Empires that covered hundreds of thousands of square kilometres or had multicultural hubs with populations in the millions. And even if it did, it’s more important to add that Italian city state where Barbarossa ate some sausage one time

But Not before we add that other italian City state where he ate two sausages and stayed oder night!!

Replying to this old thread to say that the Roman UU is a melee cavalry originally based on the Cataphract and that Roman Imperial UT also upgrades their UU attack (and train time)
