I’d invite you to read the open letter I wrote to World’s Edge regarding AOE3’s abandonment and you might understand why. The anger is justified and it is directed solely at the management at World’s Edge who made the constant decisions to neglect and abuse a deeply loyal audience. The anger is due to a betrayal of the highest order. While it can certainly get out of hand and unfortunately turn spiteful, that is hardly unusual for a game and passion that hundreds of thousands of people have individually sunk literally thousands of hours of into. Heck, spite and toxicity is seen all over the place in the Age franchise, even if people don’t want to admit it. I saw a comment in AOE4-land today saying “I’m sorry your life sucks so bad that you find not getting some useless cosmetics as ‘so sad’ and ‘toxic positivity.’”
World’s Edge initially promised to provide us with this DLC, yet they canceled it. Players of this game are seeking an outlet for their frustration, but you blamed the poor community environment.
The cut of the DLC is the root of the problem not the community environment being poor you said like. If this problem happen to any game World’s Edge created, all players will feel angry like AoE3DE players.
You are wasting your patience and good faith. Because you should know how he’ll react to that:
Coming to interact with his “fellow” players
→ First thing he ever did here was to immediately side with someone who accused all his “fellow” players and then prohibited his “fellow” players from replying, and he endorsed such action.
Such a h______
Exactly!
Lets do it with AoM Retold cause announcing, cancelling plus dont doing anything with a DLC in the first place would never ever happen with AoE II DE.
Imagine if they would announced a Mesoamerican Pantheon DLC for AoM, just what the AoM community is waiting for and then receive exactly the same treatment as us
How the players are gonna be?
Well because you guys are not grateful, they decided to punish you by cancelling the DLC!

Curiously, the 3DE playerbase is held to a higher standard than the others.
