lol, most of people i know they just right click the mine and never see the path walk of villagers, the point of the game is enjoy the battle
But that adds to my point. If a player cant notice on 4 separate instances their villagers are being under attack (traps cant overlap so they need to run into them separately) , stopped their actions since vills stop gathering / Building, etc when Hit (unless they know how to use stances) then all vills would have been dead to a regular raid. So the outcome is the same.
yea same dead outcome but one need less troops because of traps
Less troops but more resources, traps arent free. You could spend the same amount of resources and do similarly
50 wood 0 pop and chance to damage 10 units at the sale time is not free for you?
Now you want it can be build in 5 second using a massive army and be everywhere in the battlefield.
Then i need caladria owns sheeps too when exploring
It doesnt happen for a reason
Why dont you add a trap for flying units? Thats other could idea for you?
Not its not, its also not unlimited. It also can eb easily stoped if you are competent and just a move. Vills will also just halt what they are doing if they take damage so that will also alert you, it plays both ways.
Nah, you are just exagerating about a mechanic you havent used properly yourself and admited to it, but we can just agree to disagree.
Build time doesnt matter for what you are mentioning since you can just place the traps beforehand, if they take 5 sec or 30 most of the time you can do it way ahead of time for it to matter, gold mines arent moving anywhere. You are arguing with a detail that wont matter to the scenario you are terrified of.
Vey short build times would have a huge impact making them while retreating or mid fight to deter units like cav from archers and such.
This is such a funny pointless tangent for no reason its just priceless 11
