Anything I mouse over I am getting a narrator stating what It is e.g: Diamond shaped map, barracks, etc. Is there anyway to turn this off, so annoying…
In game options under Accessibility uncheck all the boxes.

I don’t have any options under Accessibility checked, and it still has the voice over… help please

Is there a way to turn off mouse over info box? When i hold my mouse over an villager or barracks it display in a box what it cost and so on.

There is an option to turn off roll-over help (tooltips) in game settings.
Hi there, I got a similar issue. I do not have any description on the cost of troops or on the cost of upgrades whenever I mouse over any of those things.
So for example, if I mouse over a building after selecting a villager I do not see the cost in terms of resources.
Same if I select the granary and check the upgrades etc…
Am I missing something? Is there any way to enable those descriptions?

As @rhrmn pointed out, there is a setting for roll-over help (tooltips) enable that and you should see a description when mousing over a unit.
same thing for me, I selected Roll-over Help and tick the Floating* box but it does not show me how much an item cost when I put my mouse over. any way to turn it on?
Hi, it is not about unit description, this is fine.
The issue is with the description and requirements when you mouse over an icon within the building menu.
As I tried to explain before, is I select the granary and mouse over the upgrades available through this building, I do not get the description and how much food-wood it costs.
Same if I select the barracks and mouse over a warrior, no description or costs for that unit.
It applies to everything, so the only way to see what an upgrade does and how much it costs is on the Tech Tree, which is annoying…
Could anyone suggest any solution for this ?
Even uninstalling and installing does not solve the issue.
