This bug has been fixed a long time ago, but, it has appeared again! Nest of Bees now occasionally has a firing animation without dealing damage, please check!

Hey @Happyearth02! I assume this is the unit and not the emplacement? Are you seeing this happen when the unit is in/on any particular location on the map?
I can confirm that this is still happening. It’s the same bug, NOB starts firing, its target unit dies and it stops firing.
