The Athenian Castle in unfinished. It’s just a test version.
I hope they finish it up and add it at some point though. Chronicles needs some updates for sure. They never added Gambesons to Chronicles nor did they remove Supplies.
Also no Chronicles UU has a unique Elite skin yet.
They promised a Chronicles balance update a while ago, I’m still waiting for that.

Technically the Chronicles castles are called “Forts”, don’t know if that matters for this

They also mentioned 6 new Monk visuals, and we got 7.

They counted the existing monk skins. Also we already saw the image of all monk skins in the patch logs so it was pretty obvious what we were getting.
We had the vanilla and the Native American Monk before. They counted the 6 new ones seen in the screenshot, but forgot the African Monk (who was not shown). We have 9 Monk skins in total now (10 if we count Chronicles).
That is real nice looking, I hope they add it.
That said, there are many instances in the campaign where non-Athenian Greeks use the Athenian faction as a stand in. So seeing the Athenian logo on their forts would be a bit odd, may be why they ultimately didn’t add it.
If they were to add this I wonder if they would add Spartan logos to the blank banners on the Spartans fort, again may conflict with some factions in the Campaign.
Apparently so, as all old styles remained. Maybe they didn’t feel confident releasing the athenian castle somewhere in the game files
Worst update ever, we only have 24 new castles instead of the expected 25, on top of the truckload of new unit skins
I had asked in reddit and the devs said they forgot to include the African one so it was clarified earlier.
