  • GAME BUILD #: Latest, v100.19.18309.0
  • GAME PLATFORM: Microsoft Store
  • OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10

:play_button: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Pre-ordered ‘The Baltic Powers’ DLC via the Microsoft Store / Xbox App. The base game updated to the latest build, and the installation directory shows updated game archive files (Data.bar). Both the Xbox App and Microsoft Store mark the DLC as “Installed.”

However, the expansion content (Danes, Poles, new maps, and modes) does not show up in-game and remains locked on the civilization selection screen.

Troubleshooting attempted prior to reporting:

- Verified and repaired base game files via Xbox App.

- Checked file directories: main game directory holds the updated Data.bar file.

- Reset store cache via wsreset.exe, signed out and back into the Microsoft Store / Xbox App.

- Repaired and reset Xbox App and Gaming Services in Windows Settings.

- Confirmed Microsoft Store and Xbox App are logged into the same account.

This appears to be a backend license token issue where the Microsoft Store pre-order entitlement key failed to transition to the active post-launch license upon release.

Hi

Can you disable all your mods?

Can you also delete your user folder? You can find it here: C:\Users\Your_user\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE\Lots of numbers

Make a copy first so you do not lose your home cities and savegames

Let me know if that solves the problem!
