Hi guys, I’m new here so I don’t know if I’m the first person to talk about it, but still the topic interests me a lot.
Several patchnotes ago the team exploration became set as a default. It was one of the reasons to change the old Portuguese team bonus from “shared exploration available from the beginning of the game” to “technologies research 25% faster”. If you don’t remember, the Portuguese had faster technologies as their specific civ bonus.
So, I think, we have the similar situation with the Burmese team bonus “relics are visible from the beginning of the game” - with the shared exploration as a default their team bonus can be the Burmese civ bonus and nothing will change for the game.
That’s why I can suggest put the current Burmese team bonus in the civ bonuses section. But of course the next question is what can be a new Burmese team bonus. That’s why I suggest a Burgundian related relic team bonus - something like “Relics generate both wood and gold”. This won’t be too OP but this can somehow helpful for both team and solo games - for example, while playing 1 tc 1-2 castle Arambais strategy.
Making it a civ bonus is more of reverse QoL feature less of a nerf since the Burmese player can just ping the location of Relics like Vietnamese Players do with starting player location. Personally i am in favor of making it the second Vietnamese team bonus.

Elephant Archer is now available in tech tree.
Cavalry Archer is removed from tech tree.
New civilization bonus “Relics are revealed in mini map”.
Civilization Bonus “Battle Elephant +1/+1 armor” changed to “Elephant Archer +20% HP.”
Old Team Bonus “Relics are revealed in mini map” is removed.
New Team Bonus “Elephant units +2 LOS”.
Something a little more varietied than just elephant los? Maybe elephants and spearmen train 10% (25 in castle age) faster. We have such a bonus for cav archers so why not?
I think there was a thread about that topic some months ago and I’ve always wondered why this bonus doesnt get changed 11
My suggestion for their new team bonus was to make Barracks 15% cheaper and I still think this would suite them very well plus every team member could profit off of that.
I really like this one as well though.
I think a bonus to Infantry or Monks would be more useful than an Elephant related bonus because more team mates could make use of it.
Something came up to my mind. Since Burmese is really bad against archer, an anti-archer TB like Persians and Poles can also be considered. But Burmese get that as an UT. So I wouldn’t mind a skirmisher bonus despite that being a horrible Team Game unit. Maybe discount on Skirmisher upgrades is a good bonus to consider. In some cases, even in Team Games, players may consider E.Skirms when they are behind in Castle Age army numbers.
On second thought, a skirmisher TB will be pretty bad. Staying with their monk, elephant and infantry identity should be considered.
Edit : Just got a new idea. Monk regain faith faster. % value can be discussed. This is a completely unique bonus. Or at least kinda, since Illumination is a tech.
