I always said that this game has a big issue with graphics, environment tries to be " realistic" and looks nice but units seems that they are not part of the environment, this because of pastel colors and lack of unit texture details or toy weapons as well, hope they can improve units in future. ---

I can live with the frozen animals, units art style, but the buildings are the slap in my face: ![image](https://forums.ageofempires.com/uploads/default/original/3X/5/a/5a89646f65e35ede67f5981ef0924c018436f30a.jpeg) Looking at the picture of @EricGonzalezM, for me it just make me feel that the units and buildings dont belong to the same universe, the houses look smaller than tents , buildings and environment details are so desynced in size, Hopefully eventually this can get some attention. ---

Yes! Look at the brickwork on that HoW. Especially the tiles on the roof. I know the forum murders image quality, but you can crank all settings to the max in-game, zoom all the way in and it will look just as bad. It’s like someone smeared grease all over the monitor. The terrain used to look that way too, and the cliffs even worse. Outside of new content, the next patches should concentrate on buildings and water. ---

The graphics we had until now, weren’t great. No debate on that. Age of Empires III, a game launched in 2005 (18 years ago), has better graphics than Age of Empires IV. Mind-boggling Thankfully the devs realized this and decided to improve the graphics. I hope they improve artistically everything. Water, units, buildings, fauna etc. It will take some time but it’s worth it in my opinion. Hire more art programmers if you can. ---

Let’s resize the buildings to appear slightly bigger than they do right now, which in compensation, the general map size can be slightly increased as well. ---
