New ideas for minor civs, outlaws and revolutions

New Natives
Irish minor civ: why not? i mean there are already some units in the editor like this clansman javeline rider or the bonnagh

Medici: Please (very influential and the game lacks a proper italian royal house so…)
Borgia: Please (as influential as the medici if not more. It is an spanish-italian royal house so i clearly see them working in a lot of maps)
Lenape: they are currently only available in unknown and a historical battle, but i think it should be present in more maps because it will add variety to them
Haida minor: They are so cool and lovely
Maroons: Could be present in a lot of maps (especially in the caribbean, wich are quite boring now with only the caribs, but also in south america)
Arawaks: Could appear both in caribbean and south american maps
Swiss Minor Civ: it would be lovely, innit?

Bonaparte Royal House: I think of them as an “Unknown Only Minor Civ” just as how the lenape are right now, they could use Foot Carabiner (instead of the Royal Musketeer), The Horse Carabiner (Instead of the Royal Dragoon) and the Eclaieur as a third unit. I dont know about the technologies, any idea?
(*little sidenote, the mongol explorer should be reworked into a tengri native unit with mongol voicelines from aoe2, maybe with a multiplier against infantry but im not so sure)

Outlaws

There are a lot of new models now that can be used to make more outlaws and add variety to the maps,
like this trapper/poacher (maybe he could use beaumont voice lines) and be in north american maps

(the one in the forefront)

or this tatar tengri guard (he could use aoe2 tatar voicelines) and be available in central asian maps and easter european’s

(little sidenote: I once heard that in the original aoe3 from 2005 there was a planned mongol/turkic infantry mercenary that was ultimately cut, this chap right here could very much be his return)

or the plague doctor, (and be available in european maps)

Or the Beduin Horse Archer (from Algiers and Al Qasr Qibir Historical Battle) that could be available in north african and arabian maps (like fertile crescent or Arabia propper)

among others (in the picture below)

I wish a bandeirante outlaw to be in south american maps or a bucaneer with a blunderbuss or a red seamen or a condotieri infantry mercenary (just like aoe2), maybe that condotieri could be a unit tied to a (hopefully) posibble Medici royal house

New Revolutions

Greeks
Jacobites (considering the new Stuart Royal House and “War of the Three Kingdom” scenario assets. why not?) Cromwell (same as above)
Serbia
Paraguay
Pirates (Replacing haiti for brittish and also it would be nice to have the dutch with this rev) check SirBarnzy1 idea plz, its really charming
Cossack Revolution for Russia? Honestly, a part of me would like to have russia revolt as the hetmanate, but rn the rev is very zaporizhian themed, so i dont really know if it would be a good idea, SirBarnzy1 suggested that maybe russians could have a replacement like the Don cossacks or some tatar khanate such as crimean, or kazakhs or the chechenian immanate. Maybe the cossack rev, should be a bit reworked to be a more general cossack revolt. Frankly i dont know

New Consulate options for Asian Civs: Danish, Swedish, Italian, Usa (maybe even Prussia or napoleonic France) i mean, why not?

I hope i made myself clear :smiling_face_with_tear: , thanks for reading and have a nice day

Using the maps we currently have for South America, I think the following minor South American Natives could be included in the game, showing new ones in bold:

  • Caribbean: Carib, Jesuits, Arawak, Miskito, Guna
  • Pampas: Quechua, Mapuche, Diaguita
  • Patagonia: Mapuche, Diaguita
  • Andes: Quechua, Mapuche, Arawak, Aymara, Caranqui
  • Araucanía: Quechua, Mapuche, Aymara, Diaguita
  • Orinoco: Carib, Jesuits, Arawak, Tikuna, Yanomamo
  • Upper Andes: Carib, Quechua, Arawak, Muisca, Guna, Emberá, Caranqui
  • Bahía: Tupi, Jesuits, Tikuna, Yanomamo, Jê
  • Gran Chaco: Tupi, Jesuits, Guaraní, Jê

  • Minas Gerais: Tupi, Jesuits, Arawak, Tikuna, Jê
  • Pampas Sierras: Quechua, Mapuche, Arawak, Aymara, Guaraní

I don’t think Europe is in dire need of new minor civs, but I’d at least add Basques and minor civ counterparts for Malta and Ottomans (maybe as Holy Sites for the latter two?).
My recurring suggestions for South America are Kuikuros, Guaicurus, Tehuelches and Minuanes.
Also Ainus and Evenki for Asia, Bedouins for Africa/Asia, and Zulu and Malagasy for Africa (though I’m sure most people would prefer Zulus as a full civ, I wouldn’t be against getting them as a minor civ first).

Since you copied your message from the other post, I’ll copy my reply from there as well:

Edit: As I pointed out before, I had mistaken Arawak for Aymara
