There is a new voice chat feature for multiplayer lobbies. My family and I were playing and were at first open to try it, but ended up disabling it before our first match. This is because it wouldn’t let us talk outside the lobby before the game while waiting for people to join.
A really huge upgrade to the feature that we would love, is if you could toggle it WHILE IN the lobby. Now you have to leave the lobby to reach the options menu to able/disable it. This way, if we queue up with strangers, we can quickly toggle the new feature and talk with the new people.

I had a quick look at this but didn’t try it in game because I couldn’t find a push-to-talk key. Can someone confirm if enabling the voice chat option leave your mic on the whole time you are in a game? Surely not…
I agree. The game just sending everything from your house the minute you go into a lobby is not good. There should be options in the lobby to mute your mic, and the standard when entering a lobby should be muted to prevent things that shouldn’t air from airing.
I’m still unsure if the voice chat extends into the actual game, or if it is lobby only.
