No achievements on custom campaigns

I seems that you cannot unlock the “win as x civilization” achievements when playing a custom campaign in Return of Rome (don’t know if this happens on base AOE2 too). I completed a mission where I was the Phoenicians but the achievement didn’t unlock, then I played a normal skirmish and the achievement worked as it should. The same thing happened with the Hittites on a completely different custom campaign.

I assume that applies to base AOE2 as well. Good to know, thanks for answering
