AoM retold, as far as we saw, has ‘better’ pathing but at the cost of making that pathing similar to aoe4 and starcraft; aka units ‘push’ other units if they can’t find their way.

Yes, they are full with Retold
so we won’t see anything about AoE 3 until they announce the launch of the Baltic DLC at the end of the year

 otherwise we wouldn’t receive a new dlc


Yes, it makes sense, it’s the same development team after all


It’s because AoE 3 is more focused on ranged combat, hand-to-hand combat is more accessory, although how they draw the sword and fight is very funny

I would like artillery push another units to get through. Artillery is important, and slow, they always should have priority.

It’s still updating


They are still working on AoE3DE, but it’s probably 1 of 3 things (From an uneducated forumer):

  • Maybe just periodic server maintenance.
  • Perhaps the devs working on the DLC behind the scenes, all “hush hush” style.
  • Or perhaps the devs working on an update before the DLC’s release.

But due to a lack of info in social media, screenshots, PUP announcements, literally anything, we are only left to guess


We may continue to complain to the void until the void grants us an update

Tis’ all we can do


Other than that, is this the longest time we’ve been without word from the developers?

Before the January update, 2 LONG months had passed without updates, everyone was losing their minds that time too.
But now, never before have we been left on “read” for 5 months, right?

I believe it’s not server maintenance because it receives updates every business day and has for months. It’s related to DLC work no doubt in my mind. If it’s comparable to KoTM, it will be brimming with content. Hopefully. 2DE DLCs haven’t exactly lit the world on fire for a bit now.

  • Forest Prowler. Reduce range to 14, receive +1 range in both Champion and Exalted upgrades.

Because “some certain players” (some of which happen to only play a certain mode, some of which happen to feel superiority among others, but all of these do not necessarily overlap) think as long as they can always shrink back to their comfort zone and play the same familiar game 24/7, it doesn’t matter if the game is bashed or forgotten by the officials, lose most players and viewers, return to the state of the black sheep of the family, for the good of the game.

And they get what they want and everyone is happy ever after.
