When you win a campaign or a scenario, no visual hint notifies it onscreen. In AOE2, for example, after achievine victory on a scenario, or campaign, a gold/silver/bronze medal is shown above it in the scenario/campaign selection screen. In IV, the only “hint” is the unlocking of the next scenario in a campaign, but no campaign completion hint is visible, except for achievements.
