Nomadic update ideas

Pasture

Yes for Huns, Khitans, Cumans, Mongol
Yes for Tangut

No for Tatars because last year I made a poll and 50% voted against pastures for the tatars. Tatars represent the settled community of central Asia in the time of Tamerlan.
No for Jurchen because the Jin dynasty have many settled community and some of the Jurchen were settled.

Architectural set

Two sets because the building of the mongol, khitan, tangut look like very chinese with buddhist element.

Eastern nomad

Khitans, Mongol
Tangut

Western nomad

Huns, Cumans
Alan, Khazar

Central asian

Persian, Tatars
Afghans

Regional skin

Trade cart : a bactrian camel
Civilization : Cumans, Jurchen, Khitan, Mongols, Tatars, (Tangut)
I put jurchen because a trade cart puleld by a buffalo are more inaccurate than a trade cart pulled by a bactrian camel (historically they use bactrian camel)

Regional sail and for south asia, south america, western nomad, eastern nomad
Regional trade cart for south asia

Regional buildings

Yurt : cheaper than an house but weaker. Replace the house.
Maybe can be packed and unpacked. Villager can deposit all the resource.
Maybe some civilizations can train villager or other unit at a very slow rate.

For the Cumans, Huns, Khitan, Mongols

Regional units

Mounted villager
Move more rapidly than a villager and are more expansive, work a little faster. Do not replace the villager.

Steppe camel (look here for the image)
Steppe camel and heavy steppe camel

A replacement for the camel line with bactrian camel instead of arabian camel. The steppe camel line will be a replacement for the Mongols, Tartars, Cumans and Khitans.

Keshik

This the best replacement for the knight because he look like very mongol, visually better looking than an european knight. Need a new UU for the tatars.
Replacement for the knight line for the Huns, Cumans, Khitans, Mongols, Tartars.

Bulgarians and Magyars

No change, because in game their apparition in campaigns are late bulgarian and magyar, already settled.

Chinese and Korean

Loose knight line and gain Hei Guang cavalry line

It’s a chinese unit, it’s a shame that they don’t give her to the chinese. Also for the korean they will look like better than an european knight.

Cumans

Loose camel line, knight line
Gain pasture, keshik line, Steppe camel (but no heavy steppe camel)
Western steppe architectural set.

Cuman Mercenaries : In addition of the effect of the technology cavalry archer and kipchak gain +1 range.
Because this technology need 3 castles to pay off and cuman ranged cavalry lack range because they have no bracer.

Huns

Loose knight line
Gain pasture, keshik line, Steppe lancer line
Western steppe architectural set.

Loose trebuchet, gain traction trebuchet.
With their +35% accuracy can be good. Very themed for a mobile civilization.

Like the mounted archer Steppe lancer are cheaper.

UU : another option if removing the knight and making Tarkan in the stable but need a new UU and new UT.

Jurchen

Bastion : in addition of the effect of the technology jurchen can now train iron pagoda in their stable.
They lack heavy cavalry in their stable.
East asian architectural set (current)

Khitan

Loose camel line
Gain pasture, keshik line, Steppe camel line
Eastern steppe architectural set.

Maybe if the Tangut are created remove the mounted trebuchet ?

Mongol

Loose camel line, knight line
Gain pasture, keshik line, Steppe camel line
Eastern steppe architectural set.

Loose trebuchet, gain traction trebuchet.
With their UT who give +50% speed can be very good. Very themed for a mobile civilization.

New UU : Naqqara (see image here)

A camel drum support unit. Cannot attack but have an aura to support your units, maybe an attack speed bonus. Trained in the castle (they doesn’t replace the mangudai, they take the slot of the trebuchet)

New castle age UT because I think Nomad it’s the most useless UT. You paid 450 resources to doesn’t loose population space.

Tatars

Loose camel line, knight line
Gain Steppe camel line
Keshik are a normal unit trained in the stable
Need a new UU (maybe a zamburak ?)

Turk

Gain steppe lancer (not heavy steppe lancer)
Good to represent the early Turk before the Ottoman like the Seljuk

Steppe lancer gain pierce armor like the scout cavalry
