So I select farm, hold down shift and click on TC. Result? Many farms.
But I can’t get it to work such that the villagers all go to the farms. You right-click on the TC and the villagers work the farms, right? Only they don’t, they just stand around. You click on the TC then right-click? Nope, they’re still standing around.
I’m having to assign each farm to it’s villager and it’s time consuming.
What am I supposed to be doing here to get the villagers to all head over to a farm?
i think you have to right-click on only one farm, after you’ve placed them, so the villagers will build and work them. if villagers are working on another resource, and i shift-click the farm on the town center, the farms will be placed but the villagers won’t quit working on their current resource, unless i send them to build one of the farms. don’t know if it’s the same for idle villagers.
i know for sure that you don’t have to assign each individual villager to their farm
I place a mill and select build farn hot key with shift click spam click on the unbuilt mill, then when you have n farms assign all bills to build mill
Assign all vills to ‘build mill’? The mill is already there.
After I’ve spammed a bunch of farms by holding shift and clicking on the TC or Mill I grab a bunch of vills, let them stand there doing nothing. Then I right-click on a farm or the TC. And nothing happens. I have to individually assign them to farms which is nuts, I’ve seen video’s of them each grabbing their own farm.
I replaced my mouse today, yup, my two year old Microsoft Intellimouse was T.U. Bummer, that’s my favorite mouse and apparently they don’t make them anymore. That fixed most of my problems except this farmer thing.
