Do you prefer the grid keys or the fully remappable?
I find the grid to be best. I use grid in all RTS games and it makes it much easier to switch back and forth.
I would remap idle villagers, all army, and the different building types to hotkeys that are comfortable for you.
the grid is the best, company of heroes 2 realized it and put it in 2013, with the difference that each phase was chosen before with f1 to f5, in aoe4, each epoch is chosen from: q,w,e,r for that you don’t have to move your hand to f1
those who remap keys is because they are badly used to old games
