Norse villagers can no longer manually drop resources to a dropsite

Issue:

As norse, you can no longer command villagers to drop off to a dropsite. The villager will attempt to do so, but just ends up pushing the ox cart out of its way.
This can lead to resource loss since you won’t be able to move villagers from one resource type to another without going through a town center, otherwise all the resources they were carrying will be lost.

Repro Steps:

  1. Command a villager to gather a resource
  2. Command it to drop resources to an ox cart → it will just keep pushing the ox cart but not drop any of the resources

Yes this is super annoying as my build order requires force drops. Hopefully is fixed soon.

This is a really annoying bug and I’m glad it’s being tracked, but until it’s fixed, there is a workaround. If you select the ox cart and the villagers before you tell the villagers to drop off at the ox cart, then they will successfully drop it off. Then just ctrl-click the villager icon to select only villagers and move them to their new location.
