# Now that Chronicles introduces unit reskins, should vanilla civs get some as well?

Currently all the generic units in the game look european, and there are quite a few mods that add regional unit skins for both HD and DE, so there is a demand for such variation.

What do y’all think of the idea of regional unit skins and names for america, the middle east, india, and east asia?

This idea has been discussed a lot by people for years now.  
[[poll] Cosmetic DLC](https://forums.ageofempires.com/t/poll-cosmetic-dlc/221051)  
The many people seem to be willing to pay for regional skins.

There are also mods doing that but they can’t be multiplayer compatible.

First step toward generic reskins.

I want Mesoamerican first. They already have Aztec Man At Arm event skin.
