Issue:
Nvidia driver crashes, causing the GPU to lose connection and my screen to disconnect from my PC.
At first there’s sound, but after a few seconds sound turns off as well and I have to hard restart my PC.
Trigger Event:
Seemingly random, but so far happened at the following instances:
- Upon first boot, when pressing the “Scan” button to determine graphics settings.
- Returning to the main menu after 5 minutes in a skirmish game.
- Before, during and after running the benchmark.
- In the middle of mission 3 “Scratching the Surface”.
Repro Steps:
I am not able to reproduce this reliably.
I’ve already tried reinstalling the game, verifying game files, reinstalling Nvidia drivers, making sure my DirectX is updated and adding the game manually to the Nvidia control panel.
