Ok, the match is over, and now I want to chat with the players still in the lobby. What indicator should I use to know who is still in the game lobby? How can I tell who has left? Could we have some kind of notification when players leave the lobby? Any kind of indicator?
When the developers wake up from the cryogenic sleep they put themselves into, maybe they’ll fix and implement these basic things. For now, it’s better to uninstall this game. I’m tired of talking to myself here on the forum, with everyone complaining and giving suggestions on how to improve this unfinished and unbalanced game, while the developers are simply on vacation.
That’s a great idea, actually! Even for other Age games, like AoE2:DE. Sometimes I will keep chatting, not knowing that the other person left the stats screen already – and vice versa. And you always need to say, “Okay, I’m leaving now” so the other person knows. Some sort of indicator, icon, and/or notification on that screen and its equivalent screen in AoM:R would be great (assuming none exists)!
Well, everyone needs and is entitled to a vacation every now and then. And it’s pretty common this time of year, right? Devs probably often have lives outside of work, like family and friends, too, that they like to spend time with every once in a while.
If you work at a perfect company where the product is 100% perfect and receive no customer complaints, please let us know so we can all apply to work there. For it is only there where vacations and weekends can be taken free of guilt and shame, and the company is universally loved by everyone.
Unless… if the only way for your company to achieve that is for you and fellow workers to work 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with non-stop overtime, no weekends, and no vacations? In that case, let us know the company name so we can avoid buying its product due to mistreatment of its workers
Yes I wish there was a way to know if someone left game so know if we have someone can talk to.
It’s holiday season time, and they are still working on the Immortal Pillars DLC, so it shouldn’t be a surprise why we haven’t been getting new updates regularly.
I can’t wait for new civilizations for AoMR and AoE III DE and to start getting back to more updates again.
It was just a figure of speech, and I bet they aren’t on a 3-month vacation. Or maybe they are, apparently.
In AOE2DE you CAN know if other players left or not. When the game ends there is an eye icon next to every player still in the map/stats. I didnt touch AOMR multiplayer yet, so I have no idea if the same applies here or not.
Ohh, I didn’t know that. Thank you!
