I want to start watching/playing aoe ii again after a 2+ year break
I left the fray just before the mountain royals expansion.
What i need is a quick info regarding which civs are available in ranked multiplayer after the mountain royals, e.g. from the Greek expansion, or will be from the 3 kingdoms etc.
A list of all the ranked playable civs with all their bonuses and units would be perfect if i can find it somewhere!
New Civs from Chronicles are single-player only.
Rome is playable in ranked.
All 5 Civs from the 3K DLC will be playable in ranked.
Just 2 more new civs have been added to ranked multiplayer since you left. Armenians and Georgians. Armenians are good for water maps, their galley shoots an extra projectile and their eco upgrades are more effective. Georgians are great for land maps, scouts, knights and CA regenerate hp, unique unit is a budget Leitis which also regenerates. That’s it. Greek expansion is just single player (some people might put it “multiplayer option in another game mode” but not the regular ranked)

The new civs before this DLC werent that weird imo, you need to be weary of the Georgian UU and beyond that you are golden
