Old games not compatible with DoI?

I get the old blah blah “file was created with a different build” blah blah message for files from just a few days ago.

I am surprised by this. (though I haven’t been around for long) Is this typical?

Whenever the game is updated this happens

Yep, on every update, previous recorded games don’t work anymore
