Hello,
I was hoping someone would be able to give me some advice regarding lag in online games of AOE2 DE. I updated my motherboard recently (same spec as before) and since then I have had a ridiculous amount of lag in online games - where to the point you can’t even play, clock is red, chat messages come late.
This issue is non-existent in single player games, as I have played offline 8 bot FFAs to test, and as expected my game is fine as usual.
As far as what measures I have done already:
- Disabled all mods.
- Re-installed the game.
- Updated GPU drivers.
And the lag still persists on online only. Further, I can play other online games fine with no issue - so I don’t believe it to be my internet connection.
I was hoping someone may be able to suggest anything else I could to try and resolve this issue, as I am all out of ideas on what to change.
