Issue:
Atlantean Oracles do not automatically scout properly after the most recent patch. Previously when set to automatically scout the oracle would walk to a destination then stop and wait for its Line of Site to increase to maximum. It would then walk to a new location and repeat the process. Since the last patch, the oracle walks to a location stops momentarily, then walks to a new location without waiting for its Line Of Sight to grow. This makes the automatic scouting on the oracle useless due to their tiny Line of Sight when moving.
It seems like whatever mechanism was used make the scout wait for its Line Of Sight to increase to maximum got broken, as the scout definitely stops for a moment before moving to a new location. It is like it starts to wait for a timer or some other mechanism to signal that it should move to a new location, then immediately receives said signal and continues on repeating this process.
Trigger Event:
Select an oracle, and set it to automatically scout by toggling the automatic scouting to on.
Repro Steps:
- Start a skirmish match, or another type of game as an Atlantean and set one or more oracles to automatically scout. Observe that they move to a location, but do not wait for their Line of Sight to expand before moving to the next location.
- This happens with every oracle set to auto scout in every match throughout the entire match. It also seems to affect the AI players in every match, as friendly AI oracles can be seen to exhibit the same behavior. It is most easily observed at the start of the match when the map is covered in Fog of War and owned or friendly oracles reaveal tiny paths where they have walked.
