The order on the loading screen is not as helpful as it could be. It should be ordered 1,3,5,7 and 2,4,6,8.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Join a team game. (This is most relevant in matchmaking rather than in lobby games.)

The order in which people are listed on the loading screen should be consistent to aid planning.

I think it might have ordered the players numerically by the slot they take, but I think they must have chosen different colors, which is what you see.

That’s exactly right. In matchmaking, though, the slot is much less important than the colour, so that should take priority. (Also, even using the slots can be misleading, since each player sees themself as the top slot during the civ select screen but their real slot might be different.)

I should clarify that it’s not exactly a bug, but a request. :slight_smile:
