Since Oromos have been reworked to be no longer tagged as range cavalry, they are no longer affected by a few techs

1 - British Firearms - of which they are the only ethiopian target in the game ( Heavy ranged cavalry) - this effect is now redundant
2 - Range cavalry caracole - They no longer gain range or damage, even on their musket attack
3 - Jesuit Smokeless gunpowder tech - they are no longer gunpowder unit

wait they havent always been hand cav?

There were 3 other tags they used to have corresponding to each of those techs, those being the “Heavy Ranged Cavalry”, “Ranged Cavalry”, and “Gunpowder Unit” tags (or something along those lines) in addition to the “Hand Cavalry” tag so they could be upgraded decently. Now they only have like 2 cards and 2 techs to buff them.
