Greeks alone have problems dealing with myth units, yet Orpheus has a never before seen gimmick where he buffs a certain amount of infantry or calvery that are near him that allows them to do extra damage to myth units. Should Ajax, Theseus, and Jason resieve the same gimmick as well?
Obvious, I don’t see why only Demeter should receive this huge buff against myth units among the 4 greeks.
Man, this DLC is so poorly thought-out that I surrender, they can add whetever they want at this point, even the flying purple Hippo and the laser O’ Canada bear.

For you to see, the heroic hero are ICARUS. This guy is not even a hero in any mythology. That was a sad dlc.

I beg to disagree theres just a few hiccups that need to be attended to. Orpheus for one is really well designed, when he’s idle he’ll either hum or play the age of mytholgy theme on his harp

It does sound like a good concept (would need to nerf the stats to balance it out imo)
I once made a similar thread of including concepts from the new civs into older ones. Its clear in the modern era the design and options are above in quality of life and the way they approach solutions for civs. Many of the civ changes made in retold were great imo.
An aura to boost your units damage vs myth units (like demeter archaic hero) or an aura to diminish the MU damage (like the heroic china hero does) for greek would be a cool way imo to help their weakness without removing it (still limited on hero options)
Mythic water myth units could become able to be on land (eggy has a turtle of all things, similar to china)
Loki having a UI to show what MU comes next or how close you are from it akin to what shennong has.
Small things that could help change the way the game is played and taking the classic civs into more modern design without changing their identity.
