Ottomans again... but now i kinda solved the puzzle

Ottomans its slow. Most civs have a spike in feudal from their landmark working as stable, archery with faster production or cheaper production, like english french byz etc, or either having very strong units like zxu or hre, while having strong economy behind maybe one of the best in the game like french hre or zxu

So how you deal against that: Spear rush in dark age, you want make 3 spears in dark age and rush his gold, and ignore military school, start getting stone before you get castle, so late feudal. im at 11 win streak now. Most players even at diamond level are bots who only memorized a build order, if something happen earlier or in the middle of the “plan” they have no answers

When pro players tells you before conquer 3, everyone its noob its quite correct most players only play 1-3 civs with 1 or 2 build order per civ and nothing more, whats the difference from a gold and diamond how good execute and practice have doing that, nothing more. The more you play, more mmr you get specially if your civ its in meta

Its not a rant post, its something i found it for my self, because 90% of the answer i got in here and reddit was super generic, something they saw in youtube tutorials but nothing worth to do

1: Ottomans military school works in castle, not before
2: You are not going to beat opponent economy in any scenario doesnt matter what you do, you are slower. The only way its getting 3+ relics +trade landmark maxed +2tc thats very rare, very passive opponent
3: Fake attacks, playing around without attacking its the best thing you can do in aoe4, its a cheap mechanic but its part of the game. Sit these 3 spears in his gold and fake attack his workers or while he is making a tower
4: Scouting its important, but you know what its important having a scout afk in his base, like a ward in MOBA game, rush his base, check where is his gold, get some sheeps and check the second gold spawn
5: Defense: Make every single building together, compact if tower its needed on wood, do it. The best defense in this unbalanced game are bodyblock with buildings and archers behind. Its not the same having 6 knights hitting all at the same time than 1 because they not have space to enter
6: By ignoring military school you still have 50 stone for tower upgrade for “free”
7: Keeps are good, towers are better in early castle
Still need optimize stuff and when make 2tc or even market. Also the transition on food slows a lot so check your food, your sheeps and closer food in your base, that will slow everything either if you are almost to win or defending
8: When you have military school priorize archers, cheap archers. Archers are the most broken unit in aoe4, defends and win fights every time, knights are expensive have 30s craft time you will loose tempo

I will tell you later how keeps going against better player, but so far its working. Against english… well good luck. But by doing this against all the others you force them to rush archery or make a tower thats something french players dislike specially when they are aging up with all in stable landmark
