Panning / scrolling map causes choppy rendering / fps

Issue:

Panning / scrolling map causes choppy rendering / fps, otherwise game looks fine. High end pc, i7 9700, GF1070, 32GB RAM etc. G-sync screen.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. zoom out
  2. pan across the map

Same thing happening on my GTX 1060, i7-8700, 16 GB DDR4, 144Hz monitor.

Same issues with 2080ti, 32gb ddr4, and i7 7800x. I cant get the game to go past 60fps for some reason. Running at zoom 4 (4k).

Same for RX 5700. I hope new update fix this problem. I can’t play regularly.
