Could you rollback the new pathfinding? It was better before this “improvement”, especially about villagers.

Literally impossible for it to be Garg. He even made a thread about how [He] Loves This Game!, which is the exact opposite of Garg’s most iconic thread. He also pretends not to know anything about Argentina while asking very pointed questions about it and making political references, thus firmly proving himself to not be Gargarensis.

I’m pretty sure it was a joke, because clearly current pathing is better than pathing after ROR.

  • the villagers are constantly blocking each other, sometimes alone
  • when villagers walk on a foundation, they frequently remain on it without human intervention
  • trajectory choices are random : recently, i had three units on the right of wall and one on the left. I click on the right of the wall, all units take the left path
  • when units collide they go in all directions and it is a BIG lost of time
  • units get stuck in small paths. With the previous point, when you are all in, it’s a real problem
  • when the path is impossible to take for a fraction of a second the unit goes around the world

No, it’s not better. Before it was basic, not “smart”, but playable.When you said go straight, they were going straight.

What pathing are you talking about? How far back? They can’t do pre-DE, because they’re not exactly the same game, and RoR’s pathing was a disaster.

It’s about DE pathfinding before the changes.
