The PC shutdowns without warning and then gets restarted. It never happened before the USA patch, and never happened doing others things. I start aoe3 with fresh pc, without having used other programs on the session

Some days 100%, some others never

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start the game
  2. Play a couple of minutes
  3. PC shutdown and game restart

Sounds like this may be an overheating issue.

It happens to me quite often too, usually it’s overheating, so I change the pasta, it’s over and that’s it, but lately I’m thinking it’s not just that, I changed the pasta less than two weeks ago and again it started to restart itself. There are even times that even though you change it, clean the fans and everything you can do, it restarts anyway.

There are tools which let you see all the temperatures like HW Monitor.

It was time to change the thermal paste!
