Persian douche needs to be fixed

the Persian douche is something I have a big issue with. there’s literally no reason to give a civ 100% HP for their TC in dark age or feudal age. I just had a player take my goats then TC drop my berries. if it had been a 1v1 I’d have lost simply because of a civ bonus. this would be the easiest thing to fix. just make the Persians get extra HP for their TC’s in castle age or make it a gradual increase per age. my preference would be to change it to just getting 50% in castle and 100% in imp. We shouldn’t be having to deal with people who aren’t good at the game but they win because of an OP civ bonus that the devs aren’t paying attention to. it can’t be that hard to fix y’all.

I am not convinced that persian douche needs to be fixed. against an equally skilled opponent it’s usually a losing strategy.

However I wouldn’t be opposed to change the bonus to “+100% hp, starting in feudal age”

Persian douche is easy to counter once you realize you don’t have to counter it.

The doucher cripples its own economy by walking the distance and garrisoning villagers for a long time. Just let them shoot your tc and build a new one somewhere else when it’s shot down. In the meantime, send a small force to their original base: there will be unprotected villagers or you can just tear down buildings.

The douche counts on chaos and panic, but if you learn to stay calm and just go on, there is nothing dangerous about it…

When i get Persian douched I just know i am going to win… its bad strategy, just don’t fight back let him waste his eco on destrying your tc, than relocate everytime… Do not repair your TC and don’t lose vills to TC fire.

To rebuild their TC they have to delete their original TC and then invest the resources and villager time to build a new one. Then they have to garrison villagers in it instead of having them collect resources.

If you don’t let your villagers get killed all you lose is your TC and maybe 1-2 other buildings if you are unlucky. So you loose the cost and construction time of 1 TC while the enemy also loses out on a lot or resource collection.

Also you rebuild your TC later so you have more time before to collect resources.
