Howdy,
I think it would be absolutely awesome if you could design your own formations for your army. I think it would add a lot of depth to the combat aspect as you could really mess around with squad formations. I guess not so much for competitive but for cool army gameplay.
Also unlimited population and even bigger maps would be very much appreciated
