Photo Mode Tweaks: Improving Controls in Age of Mythology Retold

Today, I experimented with the photo mode and found the controls somewhat archaic and, in some ways, a bit frustrating to use. However, I’m not sure if this design is the only possible way because of its game engine. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Turning left or right using keybinds feels somewhat reminiscent of the old Doom II, Quake and Duke Nukem days. It is way too slow and restrictive. However, I think by allowing players to use the mouse for free-look instead of relying solely on the slow turning of keybinds could greatly improve the experience. The player can also use the mouse to fly up or down (looking up or down) to change the elevation of the camera shoot.

I think proper FPS controls would be essential and crucial to its experience if they ever decide to implement a live FPS mode for matches as well.
