Seems like AI always goes for Ethiopians despite choosing random Civs. I do not know if this is a known bug? I will try to refresh and try again. Last 3 games I’ve faced up Ethiopians. 3 points make a line so I made this post.

:point_down: How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!

  • 50% of the time / matches I play (FREQUENTLY)

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start AOE3, request to play Skirmish
  2. Queue up with Random civilization for yourself and the AI (Hard).
  3. You get random Civs and AI is almost always Ethiopians!!

Random Civs on both players!

trying to do challenges i play some skirmishes and i can tell you its still a random civ, in the last 10-15 games i had atleast 6 or 7 different civs

Maybe just coincidence that 3 games went with Ethiopians? Perhaps, what are the odds of that!

Will be interesting for the devs to calculate the probability of that LOL :smiley:

1/x^3, where x - amount of possible civs
right now we have 20? 21 civs, so 1 in 8000 chance, something around that

We couldn’t reproduce this on our side, it is possible that it was just a coincidence. However we will pay attention to this. Thanks!
