Please fix the SLD sprite error issue

The game still pops up the SLD sprite error messages from time to time, which makes my PC freeze.

I do NOT have mods that may cause this issue. It is UNRELATED to mods unlike how the error message tells.

This error was extremely severe right after the 3K DLC, but it became much better after a patch. Nevertheless, still sometimes it happens. That means it is still fixable. So, I want to say please check the issue once again.

I don’t understand why this happens in the first place. I don’t edit any graphic files like SLD. I just play normal maps or scenarios.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Just play any game regardless of a Skirmisher, Campaign, or even a test scenario on the Editor.
  2. Not frequently, the game freezes and pops up an SLD file error that says a certain file uses an invalid sprite.

:backhand_index_pointing_down: ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.

No recent images. Even the Print Screen key is blocked under that error message.

I observed a pattern of it: I was playing my own scenario. In it, the trigger “Enable/Disable Technology” enabled the Imperial Age. I initiated researching it. Then, the game crashed with that error message.

Twice I’ve experienced, and they were all at this time.

I think there must be some correlations.

Again, I do NOT have mods activated nor the UHD option.
