- **GAME BUILD #: V.100.12.50830.0 (newest steam version as of writing. However, this bug has existed in my game in previous versions. )
- GAME PLATFORM: Steam
- OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10 (now, including Windows 11)
ISSUE EXPERIENCED
DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
Description:
When I enter the game, there is a “continue” option in the game menu, which shows I can continue a game that I played a long time ago, however in fact I have deleted this save and now I don’t have any save file. When I click to continue, I can’t load into any scene at all.
Then, the system prompts me:
Scenario: ***. AGE3YSAV Failed to load. The scenario file could not be opened-it may not exist, or the game does nor have permission to open the file.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)
REPRODUCTION STEPS
List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- save a game
- delete the save file
- exit the game
- over a period of time, enter the game
- this bug will appear
(The appearance of this bug maybe connect with Internet or steam cloud but I am not sure. And now, I think maybe it’s related to that I manually deleted this savegame file in the *:\Steam\userdata*****\remote folder.)
EXPECTED RESULT
What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
I think if there is no bug, when I enter the game, the first option of game menu shoule be not “continue” . It should be NEW or NEW GAME or something similar.
(This bug has appeared for a long time, the first place in my game menu is always to continue the game, so I have forgotten what the game menu would look like without this bug.)

I don’t have any save files. This is exactly BUG I want to report, which is eventhough I have no save files, this game still remind me that I can CONTINUE a game.
