This strategey is so stupidly broken as there is barely any counter play to it. Even with units designed to counter archers, anything thats thrown at an “Archer Ball” melts instantly. Either nerf Toxotes, restrict the amount of archers a player can have at each respective age, or buff the supposed counters so they can do their job effectively. I have faced many Zeus players who use this strategey and I can’t do anything to them as once I set foot in their base, my army instantly dies. Is it so frustrating because I don’t know what to do to counteract this. Whats worse is that these types of players ALWAYS adavance to Hera so even if I have sufficent army it doesn’t matter as they immedietly cast Lighting Storm and my army melts regardless of what I do. Moments after that my base is instantly destroyed by seige weapons as anything I send out just dies by the ludicrious amount of archers. Lightning Storm needs a nerf in itself, it lasts way too long, its radius is way too big, and unlike other destructive God powers, it does not damage friendly or allied units. I hate this God forsaken God power, and I hate God forsaken strategy
Well you are making soo many cyclops which is slowest and worst unit vs manticore spam. Literally free kills for manticore.Any other civ could just spam heroes vs this and clean all manticores. Greek heroes need some help vs myth units they get sniped easly in situations like this vs satyr, manticore and other myth units spams
Second thing this zeus is soo much ahead of you and in mythic. Who knows how game got to this

Everyone has been there, just watch some boit videos and you will improve drastically
Being on the learning curve of the game and getting hang of the básics you should try to improve on what you can do about it than outright going that something is broken.
Theres plenty of things to do about it that you Will get better at as you get better at the game.
Archer spam needs a major nerf . AOMR isn’t an AOE game!!!
It’s not about playing well or badly, it’s about that archer spam wiping out all your military units in a matter of milliseconds. Players aren’t robots; we can’t micro-manage 40 units at the same time. Enough with the archer spam that only ruins the game. Those long-range archers look like they have guided missiles ,they just stand there and annihilate your entire army. Does that seem fair to you when the Norse don’t even have a way to counter it?
I spammed cyclopi as 2 cyclops throws can kill a whole army of archers.
It kinda is. Things that arent and issue can seem imposssible when you dont have the player skills or knowledge to deal with them. It happens to us all, we think “man this is bs” to justify we got beat by something. The same things you struggled with someday stop being so much the case later on.
Its just easier to brand something external as the problem than learning how to play/deal with it.

You are running out of options to blame, maybe its a you thing.
Since norse has ways to counter it it isnt the dooming scenario you mention. We have been through this. I reply, you ignore it and make something up, the whole community shows you its wrong, you ignore it and invent something else, we adress that, you make up a simulation, we point out the flaws in it, you move to another rant, we ignore it, you open more on the exact same topic, they get put together, you invent some conspiracy about it. Can we skip to the part you go in hibernation?
There is a specialized unit called caunter archer. They completely delete archer balls. If archer balls are that broken why doesnt every top level game end with archer balls. They dont really happen in high lvl cause they have caunters and are not eazy to achieve. Archer ball is really immobile army which is huge downside if you know how to exploit it.

OG AoM was developed side-by-side with AoE 2 and Greeks infamously were designed like an AoE 2 civ. ES simply opted to not go for yet another history-based entry.
