Please remove weird golden borders from maps

I don’t like the weird golden borders around the maps. I think most people don’t like that.

Could you please remove the weird golden boarders from the maps?

I don’t mind the golden borders.

I don’t know why they use them. In AOE2 and AOE3 we also not have them. The golden borders look artificially and harm the immersion.
