Refer to some nerfs like those of the bola warriors, hauracas and max vills.
Currently Inca cannot deal with cavalries such as cuirassier, lancers and chinacos.
When the chimus can’t reach the artillery, you simply have nothing to do, the hauracas were simply deleted from the game, this unit is useless for anything else, they take out range of all the game’s artillery, it doesn’t have enough damage to deal with neither a mass nor a unit, it has a horrible sieg damag and it has a terrible attack animation.
In summary, incapable of dealing with artillery and cavalry, the units are extremely weak and and the economy took some unnecessary nerf being the last nail in the coffin that put this civ.
I agree that before the civ was too strong, but after 20 patches nerfing the same civ i think it went a bit too far, inca needs to recover some quality of life, because it is very difficult to play and have fun with this civ.
before it was frustrating to play against, now it’s frustrating to play with…
I would like to stand with you and say: the civ roster needs a reset and try to fix its issues.
the civ doesn’t have any equivalent to a dragoon unit (no reliable counter to chinacos, no good answer to other lancers either)
the house boom was boring (lame) before, now its useless and boring
vill bb costs too much
too many gimmicks that aren’t useful or that should be removed and replaced with just better stats on units or upgrades
huaraca dont take half dmg from artillery like arrow knights. also overnerfed.
I’ve given a lot of suggestions previously about how the roster could be modified to be consistent with other civs while still being unique. Not worth posting here again I dont think
Yeah while i often shoot down some peoples blatant op suggestions for inca, having a roster that dies to cannons or lancer types with 5/6 units infantry is a problem. Changing bolas or huaraca to ranged shock inf would do such wonders and not even break the whole civ…imho

Um, I’ll summarize my basic ideas to fix incas roster, quite briefly. I should specify, I dont think this is the only way to fix them, but it gives one way of fixing the roster.
Leave the age 2 units alone
Bolas reworked to act like a fire thrower, with ranged snare but lower siege and deal ranged dgm.
New Unit! added to mirror the Eagle runner. Give this unit a bonus vs artillery and cavalry. Give it melee resist so its not overtuned like erks are
Huaraca should be long ranged siege exactly as they are currently.
Macemen can be left alone OR instead of being worse skull knights they can be reworked to be the shock infantry equivalent of a cuirassier. splashy, a bit slower, strong melee dmg with no bonuses or penalties.
Alternatively, bolas could remain anticav and huaracas become more like an abus gun or humbaraçi. Then macemen should definitely be more like a cuir and not a bad skull knight
