That’s a setting, you can turn of that behaviour.
But it’s on by default. I didn’t learn about this until after the Beta ended.
They should probably change the default setting to off before the release or even completely remove that feature.
Unexperienced players likely get annoyed by suddenly having random villagers they didn’t know they were training while experienced players really don’t need the feature.
A major issue is that you can’t set a rally point before the construction has started so you have to remember to do it at some point after you give the command to build it.
You can also not disable the auto queue until after it is build.
I kind of like units pushing each other out of the way. Made getting lager myth units like Hydra to the front line a lot easier. It’s also just kind of funny. “Move a side tiny human”
Yes, in all Definitive Editions they do that… it’s very annoying that they put such dull voices instead of leaving the originals…

It seems like the majority of the community is pretty optimistic for the release of AoMR.
The biggest complaints are how many fingers the god portraits have and the new voices of the campaign, other then that it’s mostly minor things like path finding of villagers or minor tweaks on certain units or god powers.
Hey don’t forget how they promised new visual upgrades for each myth unit. There are now way more and they fit really well but unfortunately there are still missing some.
I personally don’t mind as much about the voices even I loved the old voices too. The myth unit upgrade for every myth unit and minor god is way more important for me.
i honestly don’t know mate. i just remember they annouced this some time ago.
i really hope they are still working on it cause it would be so great to see every myth unit get upgrades which are also visual (like centaurs or chimera for example)
i am REALLY REALLY happy that we finally got at least regeneration for hydra and even a bolder throw for the troll (which i think looks just great) - but i don’t know if the hydra upgrade will change it slightly like e.g. change the colours of the skin or something. (couldn’t try it myself yet)
i also think the cave troll upgrade is a cool idea but i didn’t test also but i know its makes the bolder passive better or something (would be cool if he just throws bolders cause of the upgrade, but i am already happy he can throw bolders now. also that he has a great size now and got a bit bigger, that trolls have a nice idle too where he searches for stones or put them out and look at them. this is so immersive in my opinion. oh and also that visually norse titan and trolls are more inline visually (head shape, ears)
(by the way even i still think cerberus should be a myth unit and not a titan, i think the titan looks erally great aswell as the norse one. just much better design. egypt is fancy and kinda cool too for sure but i am not sure yet if i fully like it and atlantean… well the glow is really cool and that he walks more upright butnot sure about the crystals yet)
Some upgrades are more generic like changing all myth units so it makes sense that they are not visual.
I didn’t look close enough at all the myth units to notice missing upgrades.
I think the Titans are all very boring units.
I think each Titan should have unique features and also honestly just be the main god of each of the civilisations at last for the Atlanteans.
This imo is exactly what’s wrong with the atlantean titan. He shouldn’t walk more upright, he should remaind hunched like in the original game. Titans are supposed to be giant and ancient beings. Their new posture and fast animations do not reflect this at all.

to 3. its okay you have a different focus/interest which is fine we are all individuals. since i am a visual person and i love fantasy and monsters its more important for me than maybe for you.
to 2. yeah some look to be more “generic”. which i don’t know how to feel about it. why? cause when they showcased pegasus in february they sad every myth unit has (at least one?) visual upgrade now.
also there is at least one more “hidden” one where the fire giant get chains and horns cause of an uprade. unfortunately its just for hel at the moment. (i hope they change that and give it balder too cause skadi’s uprade for frost giants is basically the same for hel - mountain giants get “just” taller/bigger as far as i noticed)
to 1. which are missing… good question. i would differ here between myth units which have upgrades but i didn’t notice or don’t know if they change them visually a bit, and myth units without any upgrade (i will count fire giant here aswell even the unit kind of has one)

i just noticed that greek myth units have the most upgrades with visual changes with just manticore and (maybe) hydra.
