Do villagers need a third building selection screen? Entitled “Extra buildings” Could also be used for scenario specific buildings, bridges, monuments, and various other miscellaneous buildings.
This building selection screen could have the shipyard for war ships for example.

That would open up a lot of possibilities like adding bridges, shipyards and more unique and regional buildings.
And of course for scenario makers it would be awesome to have more free slots for custom buildings.
This will be good, also we can just add a sixth colum.
We definitely do need 3rd building selection. Especially for scenario designers.
That would be exactly like Galactic Battlegrounds then
There should be a setting to turn it on.
Make it optional indeed, enabled through the scenario setting. As currently there is no need for it for regular gameplay, but scenario editors may need it.
