Campaigns:
Grand Dukes: Seems like most of the campaign has an allied AI where it easily fits for a coop campaign.
Algirdas and Kestutis: The name says it 11 (Jan Zizka could be a good option aswell)
DoI either Rajendra or Babur…Not sure about any of the DoI campaigns.
Historical Battles:
Bukhara: You have an allied AI where one of your coop mates could take over at the start
Lepanto: Perhaps split the Spanish base and spice it up with other stuff?
York: Would be cool to have a partner to raid Britain
Cyprus: Not sure but one could capture the western base do have a double attack on the main one
Noryang Point: Korean and Chinese coop against the Japanese.
Honestly some don’t fit for a coop campaign or maybe I’m wrong on a few, Hautevilles have a few that fit but not all of them, I personally think that the Grand Dukes and Algirdas and Kestutis are the best candidates from the DLC campaigns.
Algirdas and Kestutis would make a great co-op campaign. Babur is one of the best in the game, so I want that. Anything where you play as multiple civs works well, because those can be separated for each player.
Algirdas and Kestutis is the obvious choice, although I think it would become too easy in places. In particular, the main difficulty of No Man’s Land (the second scenario) is dividing your attention between the two bases. It’s a relatively easy campaign anyway, so I think they’d have to do something to balance that.
Otherwise, I basically just voted for my favourites: Barabarossa, Jan Zizka, Genghis Khan, Kotyan Khan and Gajah Mada.
I think El Cid would work really well, with one Spanish player and one Saracen player in every scenario – but I didn’t think of that until after I’d voted. (Also, I’d want them to make it harder since the singleplayer version is really easy.)
I did vote in York but I’m surprised by how popular it is. That scenario is already taxing on the computer with only one human player. lol
I voted York, but I actually think a battle royal mode in which you can play as any viking, briton or celt faction would be more fun.
York Coop wouldn’t work since there are already 7 factions to defeat so removing one would be a shame.
Instead, maybe we could give control of one of the kingdoms to the second player and instead of “coop” they fight it out. Idk if that would be balanced, but i always wondered what campaigns would look like if another player was playing against you, not the AI

I think the co-op campaigns can be modified accordingly to make for a balanced and fun multiplayer experience. They’ve done this with some of the Historical Battles, like Honfoglalás, where each player gets part of what you’d get in single player.
