Possible solution to the cheating problem

Been studying the methodology used for cheating in games like this.

It seems as though one of two things enable an uncanny individual to develop a working cheat for games.

#1. Someone on the inside - who works on the dev team, is selling the method or required info.

#2. Various communities of hackers share variables and offsets which allow them to somehow trick the game into sharing information. They only get the required info through an obscene usage of a debugging tool

Now, assuimg the cause is #2 - the easiest way to eliminate cheating would be to change these offsets and variables through patches.

From what i’ve noticed, it takes about 2-4 weeks after a big patch for most of the cheats to continue working, as a these require updates to the offsets/variables aforementioned.

Thus, if the game was patched weekly in a way which changed these attributes, it would outpace the rate at which cheaters could update their cheat.
