Really good. Devs already buffed the unit in 2 different areas - Attack and Speed. While PA was the main weakness of this unit, it was ignored. So I have a feeling devs will never do this and keep 0 PA as their identity.

Don’t need for balance purpose imo. They are fine at late game with one of the best Hussar.

I second this. Also the current Japanese CA bonus is really unnecessary.

I agree Armenians can get buff on land but buffing monk rush is not a right way that I believe their monk rush is already top-tier. It can be too good in closed map.

They already buffed a lot and don’t need that additional buff? Already they save tons of resources in blacksmith upgrade and militia line upgrade that is already too strong advantage against other infantry civs such as Goths, Celts etc.

Why? I think pros and players are not even tested that unit that much and Burgundians don’t need buff.

Samurais are now decent now that even beat Buffed Jaguar Warrior quite decisively I believe.

Not sure additional pasture nerf needed but agree on general direction.

a 400w 400f tech for castle HP doesnt seem very feasible for a fast imp strat

I feel like their almost FU CA+ Stirrups Hussar meta is not explored with option to go 2HS if opponent responds with halb ram

Castle Age Chemistry is the most repulsive bonus in the game, perhaps even worse than Shatagni.

  • It’s stealing another civilization’s unique bonus.
  • It provides the ability to spam a basically stronger and cheaper version of another civilization’s Castle Age unique unit.
  • It shuts down infantry play in the Castle Age.

When will this ever stop?

Why not go the extra mile?

  • Add Elite Xolotl Warrior (Cavalier)
  • Xolotl Warrior is affected by the Imperial Age Unique Technology of each civ

They would certainly not be OP but they would be worth using whenever you manage to convert a stable.

Still no Husbandry and Bloodlines.

Man. Aztec Elite Xolotls would have 20 attack (basically glass cannons), Mayan ones would have 160 HP (so would be basically Paladins), and Inca ones would have 6/8 armor.

Yeah, they’d be busted.

Aztec would have worse Malian Cavaliers.

Mayans bad Paladins.

Inca worse Sicilian Cavaliers.

All of them would be good but they are very hard to get so nothing that negatively impacts balance.

1 in 1000 matches you would have an Aztec convert a Stable to train them, maybe. Since you only have 1 stable if you are lucky the unit can never be massed.

Capped Ram HP increased from 200 > 220 (70 Hp difference between Siege Ram upgrade is huge)

Towers: (hard to suggest bonuses to make general Towers better w/o making Koreans, Japanese, Georgians Towers op)

Guard Tower and up garrison space up 5 > 7
Keep max arrows increased from garrisons (4) > (6)
Keeps +1 Atk, 8 > 9

Receive access to Siege Ram

Britons:

Yeomanry Wood cost changed from 750 > 450.

Bulgarinas: (Give Konniks their og stats, at the cost of +10 Food)
Konnik rate of fire increased from 2.4 > 2.1, Elite Konnik rate of fire is now 1.9
(Elite) Konniks +10 Hp, 100 > 110, Elite 120 > 130
(Elite) Konniks Food cost increased, 60 > 70

Chinese:
Dragon Ships melee armor reduced 2 > 1 [doesn’t take enough dmg from Turtle Ships additional rockets]

Italians:
Elite Geneoese Crossbows increased melee armor from 1 > 2. (make Elite more worth)
Lose access to Hussar

Jurchens:
Iron Pagodas do 10% trample dmg, -1 PA

Teutons:
Crenellations bonus to garrisoned Infantry effect increased by 50%, 20 Infantry will now provide +11 (15) arrows, instead only +7 arrows max. (No one uses this part of the UT)

Houfnices are ridiculously unfair.

They get HP, attack, bonus damage, blast radius, pierce armor bonuses, all on top of getting Siege Engineers! And a speed bonus, because why not?

Bohemians get 7 combat bonuses for their BBC!

Meanwhile, Teutons get only three bonuses, Spanish get one bonus and one malus (no SE), and Turks get two bonuses and one malus (no SE) etc.

You still get 10% pop space for vils.

I forgot this as well. They must lost Siege Engineers as well and offset it by +1 range for Houfnice. Thus making their rushes less oppressive than now.

As we all know the game is broken. Exploits & civ imbalances. It’s not playable at this state. THe experience is terrible. As long as these things mentioned below are not fixed the game will remain in a bad state

  1. Battle Elephants from 1 to 2 pop, War elephants from 1 to 3 pop
  2. Nerf Celts, Saracens
  3. Give the Chinese Hei Guang Cavalry and increase their wall hp bonus from 30% to 50%
  4. walls should have double the HP cost double and be thicker and taller (and civs have their unique wall)
  5. remove villager build speed penalty (sending multiple on the same construction)
  6. markets should not affect other players costs, and values should lower over time to default value
  7. if a player leaves, the rest of the team should get his ressources and population capacity added to theirs, or AI should take over
  8. ships outrange land units, which is totally illogical and unbalanced, it should be lowered to the same range and damage level of land siege units

The game is at a much worse state than I have expressed just now. If I could truely express myself here I would curse the developers.

Did they tho? The Thrre Kingds were formed by three groups from the same area of Chin and had NOTHING in terms of ethnic diference

Byzantines:

  • Lose heavy camel upgrade
  • Gain Bloodlines (Elite cataphract hp 150 → 130)
  • Logistica renamed to Clibanarii

Ethiopians:

  • Shotel warriors attack 20% faster with elite upgrade.
  • Gain Heavy demo and Elite cannon galleon
  • Torsion engines do not benefit Bombard cannons

Japanese:

  • Mounted archers +2 vs archers → mounted archers +2 vs archer line (so they dont work against HCs other CA).
  • Lose Husbandry

Saracens:

  • Gain Crop Rotation.
  • Counterweights damage bonus increased to 20%, Trebuchets have 80% accuracy vs siege units and ships.

Turks:

  • Gain Paladin upgrade
  • Sipahi 20 hp for CA→ 20 hp for CA and knight line.

Halbs still need that bonus damage intact otherwise that just would make Bengali BEs too oppresive in many ways, I said this on Khmer because how many times you see the Khmer player even going eles, in TGs I see more Battle Elephants from Bengalis than from Khmer (that often go just Hussar spam)., and thats sad for a civ labelled as Elephant and Scorpion focus.

They got that so the civ isn’t that predictable in castle age, and thus giving something that no other CAs have at this point of the game, but the cost makes it hard to afford, look at Khitan castle age HCAs for instance.

Thats because Poles are just weaker on open maps, but on closed maps is where they can be true monsters Post Imp, esp with that broken Winged Hussar spam, just to remember, Poles had almost 60% WR at any ELO on closed maps before the nerfs, and even pros were complaining on how OP were.

The civ hasn’t the same versatility as Portuguese, and the civ is currenly wayy like a really bad one for closed maps, bad siege with just strong foot units isn’t enough, for Instance Khmer and Romas all they need is simply spam their scorpions and see how they are just erased from existence like cmon. At the same time, the civ is just too strong on water maps.

Composute Bowman is a balanced unit actually, they don’t need changes.

Man cmon, how many times did you see Bulgarians in tournaments, like the civ is close to be a dead end there, they suffered from the Powercreep that Romans bring to the game yes, but the civ was already rare to see played.

A civ that is now very rare to see can’t get a fair buff that doesn’t make them any stronger on closed maps?

By the decent you mean that most ranged UUs still kill Samurai like nothing?, 11 lol Samurai should be doing Honor to what are supposed to do.

Towers garrison space can be proportional to max pop. 5 slots for 75 pop. And then +1 slot for each additional 25 pop for Guard towers onwards.
