Idk if I’m the only one with this problem or not. I just don’t understand what’s the point to pay extra for the premium edition. I bought it 2 month before the release of the game and I haven’t been able to actually use any of the perks from premium edition. No early access, no frey pack until a moth after the release of the game, i waited a week to be able to use Chinese Dlc, a month after I could use Japanese, and now the same with Demeter god pack.(is it even included on the premium version?, it was implied that any other content was going to be included with it)
I have read people with the same problem but no solution for over a year. Can I aks for a refund at this point and get the expansion pass? Is just frustrating to be just waiting for week or even months until I can use for what I already pay. And is not even about the money, but why do I have to pay twice to be able to play the new content when I already pay extra for a version that doesn’t work as is supposed to.
The premium edition is absolutely worth it because OG civs, Freyr, Chinese and Japanese are beautifully designed, the new civs are maybe overturned in some areas but the design and the quality of the product are both really high.
On the other hand, Demeter’s DLC… not so much.
To make a comparison, Premium edition is a fine Cognac carefully aged in oak barriques, whereas Demeter DLC is a discount liquor, so far.

Yes, I play on pc, the version that let’s me download its the standard edition , but no sure if that makes a difference or not since i got the extra content but late.
The Microsoft Store is unfortunately very buggy. It is recommended to buy games on Steam instead of possible. Of course now you already have it on the Microsoft Store so that is not really an option anymore.
Also Steam is multi platform which might become important for you in the future. Like if you want to play AoMR on a Steam Deck you can’t do that easily if you bought it on the Microsoft Store.
So if you get problems like that again you need to write the support of the Microsoft Store. The AoM developers can’t do much about the problem.
