Devs still getting things wrong after 2 months.

Malta:

  • Remove the Malta XP penalty entirely.
  • Improve Age IV Sentinel card.

Ottomans:

  • Increase cost of first settler limit card to 125c.
  • Increase cost of first settler train time upgrade to 60w.

Russia:

  • Decrease food cost of villager by 5f

Dutch:

  • Increase bank build time by 5s. They are an absolute powerhouse right now and even more so in teams. The 50% HP increase “nerf” is not what was making them broken.

Suggestion for the civ:
Replece the Card Sokoto Chronicles effect and make them as a Revolt. Because Sokoto Caliphate was the sucessor of Hausa Kingdom. And add some Cool stuff Like:

  1. Transaarian gun trade: Ships 3 Great Bombards from Egypt
  2. Replace Fulani Archer to Fulani Marksman a Skirmisher Variant with same Fulani Skin but more Damage.
  3. Sokoto Jihad: Ships 15 Maigadi For a Amount of Influence and Enable Emir place a Flag just like Usa and Mexico General.
  4. Sokoto Iron works: Ship a Factory with a Unique Skin
  5. Replace Javelin warior to Sokotian Musket Rider
  6. Ashanti Gun Trade: Send 2 Infinite Captured Congreve Rockets
  7. Dan Fodio Epic: Send 8 Legendary Yoruba Horseman (Or 10 Legendary Berber Camels) 12 Kanuri Guards and Dan Fodio Hinself Just Like Argentina Revolt as San Martin.

I have a question. The current cavalry attack power in Germany and Italy is that players who send cards receive 15% attack power, while another receives 10% attack power; Or do players from Germany and Italy both receive 15% attack power, while other players receive 10% attack power?

In general it is a good patch, thank you, But why not nerf Aztecs is a civ with the best win rate in the game and the jaguar is too strong? Maybe the nerf to the Incas Pikeman was not necessary to nerf him so much, they also buff the arrow archer xdd, Well, the rest, I think certain things are questionable but it’s nothing out of this world either, so it’s fine. With respect to Deccan, why does Tanot hate? The game is full of maps with extra things like resource drips, treasures that increase the collection of certain resources, many more gains + 100 gold + market + tower, I can’t play standard Deccan practically it is different because of the amount of initial resources but also the grace of good players who adapt best, just as it is unbalanced for civ that depends on TP to play without TP, it is a matter of adapting

the shipment is not viable and not used ever, thats my problem with it.

Comparison is good cuz shows how wrong are the very basics of this decision. Conquistadors in age 3 should be at least 9 to fit value. But here is clear bias towards newer civs, while euro civs can do merc spam with absurd value and nobody does a thing about it.
9 black riders is 2 430. 8 conquistadors is 1280 res. if we remove price of shipment and basic cost of 1k res in age 3. we get that german +10% “malus” is actually 430 saved res. while ethiopian shipment is negative 220 res

Afaik shadowtech doesnt count in shipments. We have 5 lancers same as 5 hussars etc.

The staggered formation wasn’t fully fixed yet

When selecting extra units, it no longer makes them pile up, but now they are as staggered as the volley mode (1 man space between soldiers, staggered formation is 2)

Does it work for you guys?

El jefe guerrero Nootka tiene el icono de regeneración pero desde que le quitaron la etiqueta de héroe ya no regenera su vida.

I’d prefer a Zorro mask over a Guy Fawkes one. This just looks kinda strange.

Something like this:

Instead of this:

I think that’s a lot more indicative of bandits and outlaws.

Okay. I am confused by the Inca nerfs.

Thats a lot bro. I am not sure what you are going for?..

You designed the civ, yet you want people to be discouraged from maining them as a competitive civilization.
Maybe there are gonna be 2-3 buffoons that think “Oh THEY WERE RIGHT TO NERF THEM LIKE THIS THE PAST 3 patches, HOW SMART”

I am very confused by what you want to pull. What is with this planning?

8? no pop under costed goons (as are most natives by design, to entice investment and they have build limit to balance) vs BR which very population heavy and dont advance in ages. as well can be used with age up option to get a mass of them, which paired with aoe damage, makes it far easier to hit a deathball that nukes anything cost effectively cept skirms, which ofc Ethiopia gets one of if not the best skirm in the game plus limited artillery etc. These things were in every deck for reason cause they were undercoated once the conq rework happened. its not “bias” its a civ being brought into the existing balance. So its not just a “special” goon, its a goon that scales in potential damage thx to aoe, can be massed easier than BR via guaranteed options, and instantly boosts in age4 making FI’s more tempting for ethopia, or a timing from age2 massing and then shipping if age2 jesuit. Hardly “unjust” and tbh your comparison was always a bit difficult as these are not 2 standard civs using standard units as base.

Minimum lets -200 res for houses not needed like normal units, and add another 100 for the extra cost of BR. Suddenly that gap is per you, 100ish res? then when you understand the german xp malus is compounding not linear, and suddenly you realize this is basically in line with existing design of the game

They dont have to say it. Simply thinking it is enough. Especially when they have to put even more care into their plays than before.

“This is fine”

Suprisingly mild change this time, was expecting something another Heavy Infantry tag out of nowhere. For anyone wondering the Arrow Knight change increase their damage against Falconet from 13.75 to 14.43 in age3. Fully upgraded in Imperial with card it goes to 30.93 to 32.48 per shot.

Ah, yes, we Lakota, with our extremely difficult history with alcohol, near-complete lack of stationary farms and a sedentary lifestyle necessary for rum distilling to even happen, and with a long history of the US gov’t throwing alcohol at us to try and kill us and our culture…

Absolutely, this card is in excellent taste and makes complete sense to give to us.

The whole forum knows how stubborn you are about everything of the Lakota civilization, but it is just one of the typical generic economy cards in the game. Rum, cigar, textile, etc., they apply to every civilization which has them. Their name is somehow kind of placeholder, not really trying to reflect anything deeply historial, in my opinion.

Cigar Roller and Textile Mill are both right there, and both were things related to what we did.

ADD: I want to point out that, of all the possible cards for this, they legit went and picked the worst possible choice.

Minor request
In line with Unique Unit skins could we possibly get a Unique skin/modified model for British Manors please.

What is “all the possible cards” meaning? When the dev needs to add a team age I card to the Lakota civilization that gives +15% coin gathing from Estates, how can the TEAM Rum not to be used? If it is a new card unique for the civ, then the effect of TEAM Rum card from allies’ civ like the British can stack on it.

When It’s just a generic card, especially a team card, maybe it’s not necessary to accuse them here of having such profound historical significance. Did you know that ##### smoking was a huge shadow in Chinese history and that Chinese civilization has the Cigar Roller card? The state religion of the Mughal Dynasty was Islam, but the Indian civilization also has the Rum card. The Chinese society did smoke at that time, and the Indian emperors did break the abstinence and drink heavily, but I don’t think the devs gave them these cards specifically to satirize anything.

I’m still laughing about the whole 5 coin they added to the Abus gunner, whereas the Plumed spearman gets a 10 food increase and the Chimu runner gets a 5 food 5 coin increase

They also need a new name change when the “Terraced Houses” Card arrives.

The current name after receiving the Card, “Estate” is confusing because it overlaps with the name of the Building where the coins are produced (formerly known as “Plantation”).
