listen, I don’t want to poke too much fun, but the expansion civs being doubled up 3 times is a weird error and strikes me as something possibly AI like (though admitedly no nerfs/buffs to Khitans/Jurchens means no wei to confirm the consistancy further)
Will say, and someone did point it out on steam, its disapointing to see Barbarossa not fixed yet especially when similar diplomacy related errors have been fixed.
Huntables not spoiling is pretty big. Not sure if the goal is to prevent laming, or make early game boar luring easier (possibly both). Dev notes sorely missed here.
TL;DR Patch with good things and with bad things. There are still problems to be addressed in the future, like the Britons
Almost 6 years
Whatever
Was it really necessary? Doesn’t it make all pickes&rams pushes even stronger?
This could be interesting
Developers are clowns, but this is nothing new now
Did I miss something? Why would it be too expensive?
Finally
There is no point, you can also remove the bonus damage altogether. The problem is that they clean the arbalests. Freaking arbalests.
So if a dev is reading this, you have to reduce the HP and bonus attack of that UU, and as I said to compensate, you can totally remove the extra bonus attack they receive from pickes. Right now they are more broken than the Mangudai.
Other change not required
Nice
It probably fits
Eliminate that tech and give it to the elite upgrade
Very very nice
Why should the camel be even more dominant in feudal age? Already like in Arena it’s a huge pain for the other 49 civilizations, now it will be even worse
Right changes
Finally, someone started testing the unit
Other buff absolutely not required. What is a dev a fan of the Magyars?
Fair enough
No. No. No. I like to think that this change was thought up by someone newly recruited who was not in the company 2 years ago. The original Szlachta Privileges is still there. I repeat again, the original Szlachta Privileges is still there.
But they are fine as they are
I would reduce the entire economic bonus from 5% to 4%. But you can also try it this way.
Zero impact, absolutely useless. The problem of the Sicilians is the economic bonus, and Hauberk.
An interesting economic bonus would be that farms can be improved once they are built, and that the UT actually gives +1/+1 to all units of Barracks / Stables units with the old lower cost.
Love the new animals! We can have Game of Thrones scenarios Devs! Can you add hippos, giraffes, hyenas, tapirs, pheasants, ducks and dogs and cats (these are like eyecandy) to the game now? Given that hares and foxes have been added! And lionesses.
I would love more animals too.
That was one of the best things in AoE3.
Especially Africa and America could use some more animals.
And not to forget that we have a Australia map in game, without Kangaroos, wombats, koalas, emus and cassowary😉
The Sardis map uses Persian Architecture to depict destroyed Sardis!
Few Issues: Trade Workshop doesn’t spawn if King of the Hill mode is selected or Infinite Resources are selected in the game options.
It would be a nice touch if the trade workshop also grants the Achaemenids team bonus if Trade Workshop is captured.
I think Shu’s Coiled Serpent Array tech should increase White Feathers and Spearman-line attack by 1 for each 10 units grouped together (max 3 for 30), to compensate the lack of Iron Casting and Blast Furnace for counter-cav units and incentivize players to train more White Feathers. Or would this make them OP?
